Sustainable design and development organization, GreenBlue, has appointed Lance Hosey as president and chief executive officer. Hosey is a nationally recognized architect, designer, and writer on sustainable design who has worked with some of the world’s most successful companies and organizations to advance sustainable innovations. He is the co-author of Women in Green: Voices of Sustainable Design, and his latest book, The Shape of Green: Aesthetics, Ecology, and Design, will be published in 2011. Previously he held the position of director with the sustainable design and architecture firm William McDonough + Partners. Hosey is a contributing editor to Architect magazine and an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Green Professionals.
